I visited Anjappar in Durham and had a great experience. The food was very tasty, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. I loved their traditional Indian-style serving plates. I ordered shrimp pepper fry, paneer burji, and chicken kadai — all were delicious. The meal ended perfectly with a sweet dessert. Highly recommend!

What a delicious restaurant! Honestly the best Indian food we’ve had in town so far (and we’ve tried several). The variety, flavor, and quality is top tier. Large portions too, each dish is two meal’s worth. Perfect for sharing in groups. Sadly only caught a pic of the potato & onion dosa, too busy eating to capture everything else lol

My fiance and I have been here twice so far and it is by far the best Indian food we’ve had here in NC. Dosas are delicious, chutneys are extremely flavorful, and the staff are beyond friendly, especially Anthony! Can’t recommend this restaurant enough, we will be returning soon!

My colleague and I were looking for a near by restaurant from our Hotel. We both enjoyed the food and service here a lot. I can especially recommend the Manchurian semi dry with soya chunks.
